  Beautiful stately home near Galway city centre with a wonderful breakfast

  Liked: Beautiful grand home within walking distance to Galway city centre in the trendy Salthill area. The host family was accommodating and kind and provided a delicious and plentiful breakfast. Our room was large and beautifully decorated in the way of old stately homes. It felt like a country manor in the middle of the city. The location could not have been better. The bed was comfy and a parking spot was provided.

  Disliked: The house and our room was quite chilly (it rained very hard that day and consistently throughout) and the wifi is very poor, particularly upstairs.

  Liked: Very friendly family feel, great breakfast and very clean facilities

  Disliked: No coffee facilities in the bedrooms, although they were available in the dinning room. Over prescriptive "house rules" which shouldn't have been required.

  I would highly recommend this B&

  Liked: What a beautiful place to stay. Very Clean and the most comfortable bed. The location is perfect very easy to get around, either by bus or walking. The breakfast, was delicious.and the owners was very sweet and accommodating.

  Beautiful period property and lovely family hosting from their home

  Disliked: Not so much a dislike, but some couples may not get a taxi or accommodation a little closer.

  Liked: Loved the location, very accessible to bus. Felt like being in a house. Very clean, comfortable & welcoming. Family couldn’t have been nicer and breakfast choices were perfect.
