  Liked: The staff was lovely, and the location was good!

  Disliked: Community bathrooms could be cleaner, beds could be more comfy. Also the bathrooms in the room, the 2 showers are completely transparent, side by side; I honestly thought that was uncomfortable and a bit strange.

  Disliked: I strongly cannot recommend this place to anyone! If you want to enjoy your time in Galway, please choose somewhere else! My experience was awful… Firstly, it is unbelievable that a hostel doesn’t provide any lockers where guests can store their belongings, such as laptops or money! Also, if you want to charge your phone, you have to improvise a little shelf using your slippers, because there is nothing next to your bed except an old, worn-out power socket. Don’t expect the place to be tidy, either. I can only hope that my bedsheets were clean (they smelled like fried onions…). Of course, I also have to mention my roommates. Okay, maybe snoring is somewhat understandable, but one of the other guests was burping for half the night! And finally, breakfast… As other guests have mentioned, it consists of cereal and toast with jam. However, I’m not entirely sure how clean the plates, cutlery and mugs are, as guests are expected to wash them themselves.As you can see, I strongly recommend avoiding this place!

Good to know

Guests are required to provided Photo ID containing a date of birth to check in. Passport, Driving License & National ID only accepted. The Credit card provided must match the name and details of the booking and is required to be presented on arrival. Alchohol is only permitted in the groud floor area of the Hostel Please note that towels are charged at EUR 2 each. For group bookings of 3 people or more, a refundable security deposit may be required of €25 per person. This is payable on arrival by cash or credit card and is fully refundable on departure, subject to adherence to house rules. For Groups of 8 or more different booking policies and terms apply. A 25% non refundable deposit is required on Booking and outstanding balance is payable 4 weeks in advance of arrival. All payments are Non Refundable. Please note that photo IDs are required at check-in and must display the date of birth. All persons under 18 years old are not permitted to stay in dorm rooms. There a maximum stay policy of 7 Nights. We do not offer long term accommodation. All other bookings are charged up to 3 days in advance of arrival. Failed Payment can result in the reservation being cancelled.

If you prepay through booking.com a valid Credit card in staying guest name will be required to be provided on arrival.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

A deposit may be required at the property.
