I will be back!
Liked: Excellent location, within 100m great bakery, fruit and vegetable shop, bar, the center. Places to park safely close by, fully equipped kitchen.
Liked: The host is very congenial and helpful.
Disliked: There is no comfortable seating, very little natural lighting with different parking.
Liked: The owner is extremely nice and helpful. Avola is in a very good location.
A very enjoyable stay
Liked: The owner Stefano very friendly and helpful, always available for any questions or problems. We were given water, juices, coffee and Italian products to prepare some dinners as a welcome. Then some more local sweet cannoli and wine. The apartment was clean, cosy and well equipped with everything we needed. In a good location, close to shops and the beach. Parking was either in the internal square or on the street and there was no problem parking the car. Alvoa is a good location for exploring the south-eastern part of Sicily. I would recommend

Nice stay
Liked: Host was very friendly and helpful. He left us some stuff to make dinner for a couple of night which was really great and water. The apartment was well stocked for paper towel and toilet paper. Beds were quite comfortable and everything was walkable from the apartment.
Disliked: There is no on-site parking as it says in the listing. You will need to find street parking around the corner and if you're lucky it's free. If there is no availability you will have to park quite far and in a paid lot. Kitchen is not very useable. There are no pans, only pots. It would have been nice to have a new sponge or something to clean the dishes with. There's limited options for glassware. When you use the washing machine the drum will scream when it goes around, I would suggest putting it on while you're out if you don't want to hear the awful noise it makes. One room has no windows at all and the other has a window set deep into the wall. I found the airflow in the apartment to be non existent unfortunately.
