  Disliked: Despite a nice location, a nice balcony, and overall cleanliness, this place was a major letdown. The host was unfriendly and didn't speak English. Worst of all, the bathroom is not private—you have to exit the room and cross the hallway to use it. The rooms are extremely noisy with paper-thin doors, uncomfortable beds, and excessively thin pillows. The 'breakfast' was a joke: just two yogurts and some questionable fruit. Not recommended.

  Liked: The owner is nice. The room cute and with everything you need.

  Disliked: The pillows were not the best for me. One too thin and the other one too thick.

  Be aware before booking

  Liked: The place is well located in Bologna, close to the train station.

  Disliked: The room we booked had a shared bathroom with the host. The host was not respecful, of us using the facilities that we paid for. Knocking on the door quite hard, while I was still in the bathroom. As well as restrictions on the airco use.

  Great value, great location, quality bed /bathroom/shower/facilities overall, many thanks

  Liked: The location is a short walk from the train station and just as short a walk to the main centre/attractions. The apartment was a very practical layout, everything worked and we slept very well. We would definitely book Dolce Vita again.

  Disliked: Only something for the landlords to consider - in order to appreciate the natural light it would have been better if nets/blinds were fitted in the main room, the room was dark even though the weather was fantastic, we couldn’t open the curtains as there would have been no privacy at all from the buildings at the same height opposite.
