Would recommend to friends. Lovely, clean apartment

Liked: Great location easy walking distance to the very centre of the old district. A very clean property. Communication with the property owner was superb. When we had a small issue it was dealt with immediately. Very clear instructions on accessing the property.

Disliked: The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, quite firm, which may be great for some people. Much softer pillows would be great. Could we suggest the apartment number be put on the white door that covers the apartment door. That was a bit confusing. The addition of some local information would be helpful for first time visitors..taxis, buses, trains etc..

  Cute spot in Bologna

Liked: We drove into Bologna so parking was a concern. We received information on parking along Dante Street and luckily we found a spot about 2 mins walk from the apt, which is located in the Limited Driving Zone (ZTL). Location wise, the apt is about 10-15 min walk from the main piazza. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops right outside your door too. There is a lift so it was easy to bring luggage up, however once inside the apt, you still have to go up about 10 steps. The apt. is spacious and we took advantage of the washer machine, which worked fine. It was so hot we pretty much hung our clothes to dry on our private terrace.

Disliked: The bathroom was a bit odd. The sink is unusually large and the mirror is way in the back. It was difficult to apply make up or put my contacts on. The shower is small, but that's just a European thing. The pillows were not comfortable, they were lumpy. The AC unit in the bedroom is also loud, if you're a light sleeper, I don't recommend.
