Fabulous
Great hotel find in centro storico da Bologna
Liked: Breakfast, room, bathroom, best location.
Disliked: Liked everything
Liked: Genial staff (esp. Gerta, Franco, Andrea) enthusiastic and helpful. Helped arrange solo tour to Ravenna’s spectacular Byzantine mosaics. Offered general areas near hotel to explore: must see places, food and drink destinations, arranged taxis as needed. And yes, property was clean, well-lit and offered satisfying breakfast. Would revisit Hotel Cavour without hesitation.
Comfortable hotel for a short stay
Liked: We came to the Cavour last minute after our original accommodation was uninhabitable. Being able to accommodate us was a big relief. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: Water pressure low and had difficulty flushing the toilet. Not a lot of restaurants nearby, but we found the main eating area near the main square the following day.
Excellent hotel in Bologna
Liked: The staff at Hotel Cavour is excellent. Everyone that we interfaces with was friendly and customer focused.
Disliked: Small shower with a door that leaked some water.
Liked: Excellent location very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean room with balcony. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Room just a little on the small side for 2 people
Overall a lovely stay
Liked: Lovely clean room. Excellent bathroom
Disliked: I would have like a room with an opening window and a view. Too many stairs to the top
