Exceptional
Lovely hotel with lots of greenery
Liked: Very large room on the ground floor. Beautiful hotel with lots of greenery. Breakfast was great in a lovely patio!
Disliked: Water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. The sheets on the bed were not fitted very well and became undone.
Relaxing and comfortable allowing us to enjoy our time in bologna and our day trip to modena
Liked: The hotel was pleasant friendly and helpful, The room was fine and the breakfast good The garden room was a bonus in the middle of the city.The hotel was out of the centre but easily accessible and had numerous very good family run restaurants in the couple of streets in the area.
Disliked: We had nothing to dislike as the hotel met our expectations
Relatively OK
Liked: Location is perfect for those not renting a car and who wish to be within a walking distance to the city centre. Also, the hotel is situated in a quiet area, away from main streets. We also requested a quiet room and the staff was kind enough to take into account and accommodate our request. Breakfast was tasty and good options for a 2-3 nights stay. For those staying longer, options would become limited. We loved the yard and the fact that we could serve breakfast outside - for those being in luck of good weather. Otherwise breakfast area is very small and noisy. The option for coffee is the room was very appreciated. The staff was extremely nice and made us feel welcomed.
Disliked: The bathroom needs refurbishment - it is quite old and the water is leaking on the ground from the shower. Our towels were not changed for the entire stay - 3 nights, which we would have been ok with if we had enough space to leave them to dry from one shower to another. We were brought 1 additional set of towels in the room (although we were three people), but the old ones were left there. Literally no place to put all of them - old and new ones. So we appreciated the intention, but did not really help. It was a bit cold in the room and the heating was not turned on. But luckily we had A/C in the room, so we managed to warm it up. Overall, although there were positive things, we did not feel we've got value for money.
