    Extremely rude management and owner

Liked: The room was old but clean, and it was cleaned daily.

Disliked: Unfortunately, the shower drained very slowly, and within five minutes, water was several centimetres deep. I reported it to three staff members, but nothing was done. What upset me most was how the manager and owner treated me when I raised the issue again. My concerns were dismissed, and staff raised their voices instead of trying to help. I felt very uncomfortable and disappointed. Having to stop showering repeatedly to let the water drain was frustrating, and the way I was treated made the experience even worse. I’ve attached a photo showing the problem. The room was clean, but the lack of action and poor treatment really affected our stay.

I was so scared for my life after this incident that this is how I slept every night for 4 nights

    Liked: Location

Disliked: It was the the most horrifying experience of my entire life. The air conditioning in my room was not working so I just asked for a fan instead to which the owners very rudely replied that we cannot provide a fan in October. After insisting that I need some sort of cooling they finally agreed to give me the fan. The male owner was constantly being very rude and aggressive and also made remarks like “I am doing you a favour by talking to you in English - We only speak German or Italian here” He made faces at me and all this was a clear indication of him being racist. After this I took out my phone to record this behaviour so I could leave a review, he then physically pushed me, snatched my phone and locked it up. I was a solo female traveler, after shouting for 30 mins for help they finally called the police and only returned my phone once I deleted the video of his behaviour. To this his wife also partaked. I said I want a refund so that I could leave the property immediately as I then felt unsafe staying there. They refused to refund me and after an hr of negotiations with the police said “they would allow me to stay there but without the fan” Allow? For 4 nights that I have payed for? So much for not wanting to provide a fan that they very well had? That too because the air conditioning in their hotel was broken? I wouldn’t get any other accommodation in the last min and had already paid for 4 nights so I quietly took the fan and left. But I was so scared to stay there after this. Not once did they think they were ruining someone’s vacation. Scaring a young girl travelling alone. Just cause they were an old, racist, unexposed and probably uneducated couple! Honestly, stay here at your own risk!

Liked: The location is great and the bathroom was recently renovated. They offer breakfast, but I didn’t need to have breakfast there because there were so many restaurants and bakeries to walk to. There is a Starbucks a cross the street if you need coffee in volume (it opens up later than normal because it’s in the mall).
