We loved the area and loved our accommodations
Liked: Loved our stay with Barbara at Villa Diomira. The location was incredible with an amazing view from our room and every morning at breakfast. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious. We thought it was one of the best places we have ever stayed in and Barbara was an exceptional host.

What a view!
Liked: Barbara was really nice and took care of everything, from opening the garage for my car to booking reservations at the village restaurant, which was really good.
Disliked: The drive up is really narrow so smaller cars are better. But the view is worth it!
Liked: One of the best stays we had this year! The hotel is located in the cute little village Sant'Agata, away from the touristy areas and with a nice restaurant. The house is beautifully decorated, and offers amazing views over the mountains and lake. The rooms are super spacious with great interior and were impeccably clean. The breakfast must be the best we had in Italy. Seated on a balkony we got a lovely spread of sweet and savory breakfast. Barbara the perfect host, making us feel so welcome, giving great recommendations and allowing us after arriving late to go to the restaurant to sort out admin in the morning and giving us a upgrade to the bigger room.

From the moment we booked, Barbara, the owner, went above and beyond to make our honeymoon and my husband’s birthday extra special. Her communication was excellent, and she made everything so seamless — even helping us locate the villa and guiding us up the mountain (which, yes, is a steep drive but 100% worth it for those views!). Barbara truly spoiled us — we felt so welcomed and looked after. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. The villa itself is stunning, cozy, and beautifully kept, with breathtaking scenery that feels like something out of a dream. Peaceful, private, and incredibly romantic. We’ve stayed in some amazing places on our travels, but this was next level. Villa Diomira set the bar incredibly high. We can’t wait to come back one day — and would recommend it to absolutely everyone looking for an unforgettable stay. Thank you, Barbara, for everything! 💛
