Disliked: No lift all the way up to our floor. That only matters when you have big luggage.
Walkable location near the local ferry
Liked: The front-line staff were pleasant and hardworking, providing helpful porter service to carry our bags up to the first floor and kindly filling our water bottles for us on our first evening. The room itself was comfortable with cozy beds and soft slippers, and the hotel sits in a great location within walking distance of the local ferry dock for scenic slow-paced boat trips(fast speedboats require a connection through Como). The breakfast spread included plenty of fresh fruit each morning.
Disliked: The facility lacks basic 4-star standards, offering only a cheap 2-in-1 soap dispenser, an empty minibar, repetitive breakfast with limited vegetarian options, with no daily water refills providing just two tiny 250 ml water tetra packs for a room of four on our day of arrival. While staff kindly filled our water bottles for free one evening. The hotel's rigid management policies and system limitations really drag down the guest experience.
