Old town
Inside the walled town there are small hotels, guesthouses and apartments. The cathedral, the shops and the landing stage are a few minutes' walk away.
Lakeside promenade
Facing the water, between Piazza Cavour and the path to Villa Olmo, are the hotels with lake views. It is the most convenient area for catching the boats.
Brunate
Up above, by the funicular, there are villas and quiet guesthouses with viewpoints over the lake. Ideal if you are after peace and don't mind going down by funicular.
Cernobbio
A few kilometres north along the western shore, this village has lakeside hotels, some in old villas, and its own landing stage.
