Liked: Location is great including a view of the lake
Disliked: Somewhat noisy from street level noise at night.
Liked: Gracious host and super location to lake in Como and town.
Disliked: Construction in front of apartment early in the morning.
A real treat
Liked: Stefano went above and beyond in every sense. Great location, fabulous room, comfy bed and tasteful decor, and a fantastic bathroom with both a great shower and an excellent luxuriant bath - it was a treat. Usually places have a pitiful bath if any, so this was a real treat to be sipping a glass of fizz in a nice bath then hop into a comfy bed. Stefano was really easy to communicate with, available and super friendly. Honestly, I've family in Brunate (the village that looks down on Como) so know the area well, and I think that was a real treat and great value. I'd happily come here again in a heartbeat.

Disliked: A bit less flexibility with checkin and checkout as the host needs to come. But he is very flexible

Disliked: The downside of being an historic building is that it isnt able to cope well in 35+ degrees which hopefully doesnt happen too often.
