Excellent stay in Como
Liked: - excellent location - Andrea was very friendly, welcoming and professional - The rooms and furniture are top notch - The have a clever system where each guest gets a personal PIN code to use throughout the compound. This saves the headache of having to carry around a set of keys
Really loved staying here and being close to beautiful Lake Como
Liked: It's a little tucked away and difficult to find at first, but it's a charming and beautiful smaller hotel right on the lake and we loved the rustic look and vibe of this place. Our first time visiting Lake Como and I really loved being right in the action, close to several restaurants along the lakeside walk. Walking distance to the funicular and all the ferry docks, as well as the shopping areas around Como. Saying it's rustic doesn't mean it's not modern. It has clean, modern amenities and once you get used to getting in and out, you'll love it. There's also a great little buffet breakfast each morning and the friendly staff is happy to make you a cup of cappuccino. Definitely recommend.
Disliked: The room we were in was at the back of the property and you'll hear a lot of talking from people leaving the bars and restaurants and dozens of cars going by late at night. It didn't bother my wife at all, but it kept me up. My wife also said the shower did a lot of hot and cold, probably because other rooms were showering at the same time.

Disliked: Miss understanding with Booking.com on number of people. Once we got there we were charged 59.00 per person extra! A little outrageous when we had ordered a 2 king rooms with breakfast. Also promised a lake view in each room which we DID NOT have!
Unique eclectic hotel, relaxing stay in a quiet convenient location with outstanding service
Liked: Loved the location, convenient yet in a quiet area, felt more neighborhood. Staff service was superb and loved the uniqueness of the building, design of the rooms and overall decor of the hotel.
Disliked: Pillows while big were memory foam, so not comfortable for us. Would be nice if there was a short 1 hr happy hour (could get a drink or coffee).
