Liked: The hotel is very well run by a father and son team. The staff are so friendly and the breakfast is superb. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and big with an excellent shower. The views from the Conte room were nice too. The grounds were a pleasure to walk around and the hotel's decor was impressive.
Disliked: We were on foot most of the time and because the hotel overlooks a lot of the town the uphill walks to the property took a lot of effort with my pregnant wife.

Steeped in history and timeless elegance, the villa exudes an extraordinary sense of grandeur, with magnificent antique furnishings, exquisite frescoes and beautifully preserved details that evoke the romance of a bygone era. What made our experience truly exceptional, however, was the impeccable hospitality. Every member of the team offered the warmest welcome, genuine friendliness and attentive, outstanding service that made us feel so welcome. The breakfast offering was as good if not better than a 5 Star Hotel. Villa Platamone has created memories to treasure long after our departure. We left with heavy hearts and one delightful thought already in mind, we cannot wait to return!
