Fabulous
Exceptional hotel. A rare find

Nice location
Liked: Quiet location, in a large private garden. 15-20 minute walk to the center, which was OK for us.
Disliked: Communication was difficult. On arrival only staff member present could not speak Italian or English, they used Google translate. Second member of staff only spoke Italian, no English. Breakfast was disappointing - I know this is a very small place, but muesli with no milk, very limited bread choice, and coffee was at times undrinkable. If you only like sweet stuff in the morning you will be fine - if not then not. Our room had the bathroom upstairs with a sofa outside the bathroom, however wifi reception on the sofa was non existent.
Liked: Clean and tastefully decorated room. The hotel has extensive grounds so great if you’re travelling with a dog. The housekeepers were welcoming and helpful. A good walk into town but well worth the effort. Ferrara is a beautiful, historic town and very lively in the evening with a good choice of restaurants.
