Exceptional
Great location, ok value but just a basic hotel
Liked: The location is the best thing about this hotel. The staff was mostly pleasant and helpful but a bit aloof.
Disliked: The breakfast was very basic with few options. Both salty and sweet options were available. All drinks had to be ordered through the staff including coffee, juice and milk. The room (Roma) was also very basic with minimal furnishings and toiletries. The furnishings were a bit dated but adequate. The room overlooks the main street so there is muffled noise at night and early mornings (garbage trucks) coming through the windows/shades.
Liked: Location was comfortably in the center of the old town in the pedestrian zone. Room was clean and typical of an old town building. Bed was comfortable and washroom had no surprises.

Liked: The room was big enough for both of us to have a little space, the bathroom/shower were very clean and well designed. Breakfast was delicious and the freshly made machiatto was much appreciated. The staff were really professional. Overall a lovely experience
Disliked: No negatives really. One small thing that might help is a quick guide to the AC. Ive never found two hotels with the same AC system and a little guidance might help the customer and save the hitel some money.
Reasonable for the price. Staff could be more attentive to guests especially at check in time
Liked: Good location. Room was comfortable although there were no tea or coffee making facilities and only 1 pillow. Breakfast was basic but reasonable for the price and included freshly made tea and coffee.
Disliked: The guy at check in did not volunteer or explain much about the room or facilities. He asked if we needed help with the luggage which we needed to get up multiple flights of stairs. Not realizing there wasn’t a lift, we said no. It was clear anyone would need help to get 2 large suitcases up those stairs. If he was enthusiastic, he would have simply got off his chair and assisted.
