  Superb

  Liked: Very comfortable, quiet room with great facilities for tea and water in the main area. There were a few communication difficulties before check in, but it's a really nice place with a friendly owner who seeks to make guests comfortable.

  Exceptional

  Liked: simply amazing family, with such warmth and care for each guest, what a cute room, with selected details in the form of paintings, curtains, bed linen in a unique style. feel the spirit of old Italy, enjoy the homely kind comfort, highly recommend. everything is thought out to the smallest detail, mini-kitchen, water, coffee, even a thermos for water for your convenience! everything is super, will definitely stay again!

  12th century beauty

  Liked: Karlo the host is very sweet and welcoming. The building is from the 12th century and they did a great job in restoring the bathroom. Excellent location. I loved it.

  Cosy place in the heart of Genova

  Liked: The room was spotless clean, very confortable and quiet. The hosts are the most kind and accomodating, always available to help. The location is perfect to explore Genova’s historic centre on foot. Highly recommended.

  Marvellous historic rooms in great situation with friendly hospitable hosts

  Liked: Carlo and Anna were excellent hosts. Their house is very central in the historic renaissance area next to the cathedral. It is situated just on a historic caruggi. It is clean and comfortable with daily fresh bedding and towels. There is a shared kitchen lounge area with a second guest room and coffee etc is refreshed daily. Carlo helped us with many recommendations regards places of interest and is a great source regards the history of Genoa. We stayed for for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at San Lorenzo

  Convenient but cramped & uncomfy

  Liked: The location was convenient and the history of the building was impressive. Access to coffee maker in the morning.

  Disliked: The bedroom was so small. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed and I’m a small person. The double bed was 2 singles put together, both of which sunk in the middle so we’re not very comfy. It was noisy. Could hear everything that went on in the other bedroom and frequent shouting from the owners. Breakfast was pastries which were left out from the night before so we didn’t eat.

A damage deposit of EUR 150 is required. The host charges this 14 days before arrival. This will be collected by bank transfer. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
