Exceptional
Amazing hostel. Perfect for exploring Genoa and so close to train station to explore some lovely beaches
Liked: Staff were friendly. Room was amazing and I had been upgraded and was more like a suite! Perfect for station. Great kitchen and terrace. Lots of free food.
Disliked: In some of the other Ostello Bellos I was able to get free tea and coffee all day from the machine but this wasn’t always available. Only downside!
lovely hostel
Liked: everything was nice: room size, breakfast, common areas, staff. the whole feeling when entering is light and fun. basically it's in front of genova piazza principe train station so couldn't get better than this!
Disliked: the style and decor you find in the common areas is superb and perfectly reflects the whole hostel-for-youngers idea - too bad it stops there and doesn't reach the rooms, which are typical italian sea-side hotel rooms while a lot of unused space, kinda old furniture and bathrooms that need a little love. price is also too high in my opinion: 175€ for one night in a double for a hostel feels a bit of a rip off.

Liked: good location
Disliked: As night falls, the bar-like atmosphere next to the reception area feels strange.
Nice hostel but made me sick
Liked: I love the general vibe of the hostel. It was nice and comfy.
Disliked: The dorm room was full of sick people. I stayed for one night. Didn't make any complain because I was only for one night. The ventilation of the room was poor. After 5 days I was very sick too.
Great social hostel
Liked: Bathrooms inside 4x rooms. Air cond. Decently comfy beds. Fruits, food, hot water and coffee available for free. Bar, gym, coworking space and kitchen at your disposal. Great to meet people.
Disliked: The hostel does not provide towels. Close to Piazza Principe train station and Flixbus pick up place, but a 20-minutes walk from the city center.
Worst Hostel Ever
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The place looks completely different from the pictures. Dangerous surroundings. Full of chaos, dirt, shady people, drug addicts, and prostitutes. No parking. Dirty, loud, and unsafe. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a brain. A place that completely disgusted me right away. I walked in, took one look, and walked out. I preferred sleeping in my car at a parking lot over staying at this hostel.
