An absolutely over-priced run-down loud place infested with mosquitoes
Liked: Nothing!
Disliked: It is a run-down apartment full of mosquitoes, without screens, next to a major loud railway. The proprietor cheats you with city tax. Even though obligatory in Italy, our IDs were not asked for. Maybe the whole thing is outside Italian laws. Hardly any saucepans. No water kettle. A total disappointment! Don’t book it!

Liked: Close to the railway station and early morning trains.

Liked: We had to take a ferry early next day. The location was super convenient and at the same time easy to get to other places in the city by public transport. The appartment is in an ancient building but with charm and is very comfortable

Liked: Perfect location, close to the cruise terminal and the railway station, shops. Clean and comfy rooms.

A very pleasant stay
Liked: Our host Walter was very responsive and accommodating. He allowed us to deposit our luggage at the apartment and to park our car in the private parking early. The apartment was spacious, clean and it had everything we required for our stay. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the port and the historic centre. We ate at a little trattoria nearby (cucina casalinga da Mario) which we really enjoyed.
