Liked: It was good 👍
Liked: Close to the train station and aquarium. Breakfast ok.
Disliked: Wierd people in the neighbourhood. Bed is too soft, and loud, the sheet is thin (-> cold room).
It'll be an ok hotel for some. But not me
Liked: Was a basic room. Bed was big but only 2 very thin pillows. Nowhere to put suitcase, except floor. Shower was good, but flooded bathroom as screen not adequate. Basically, its a room with a bed & a bathroom. For €99. Its a minor point but there wasn't any toilet paper,nor could I see a holder. Sure there was a bidet but some people aren't fans of bidets.
Disliked: Pillows. Shower. Basic room. Price. Bidet.
Perfect location for explore the city and around it
Liked: Very good location, closed to central train station.
Disliked: Would be good to have kettle in the room
Very good for a short stay when it’s not too hot, close to the train
Liked: Calm, clean and comfortable. I had a big balcony. It's very close to the train station. Good breakfast and very nice staff.
Disliked: The area around the train station, close to the port, is a bit dodgy, didn't feel like the safest area. There was a very busy, noisy main street just across the balcony. I had the windows closed at night, it might be very noisy during summer if you had your windows open. Did not see an AC. There is no storage room.
Liked: The hotel is centrally located, close to the Port of Genoa and some very busy, noisy roads. My window faced the road, so there was quite a lot of traffic noise, although it was fine once the window was closed. The apartments themselves are very basic. In my opinion, they are only worth considering if you are staying in Genoa for a short time and need quick and convenient access to the port. I did not find the location particularly suitable for tourists. In the evenings, the area did not feel very pleasant or comfortable for walking around. For a sightseeing trip to Genoa, I would definitely choose a different hotel in a different neighborhood.
