Fabulous
Pleasant and convenient stay in Genoa
Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location.
Disliked: Breakfast was crowded. Food was not replenished quickly enough.
Great stay so perfectly located
Liked: So close to the train station (across the street) and walking distance to the port. Close to restaurants and easy to get to the old town from nearby subway. Loved the room. Pictures are true to reality. Beautiful view from our window. They had a nice breakfast. Appreciated the small elevator for my elderly parents and luggage. There are other hotels nearby but this one is so perfectly located. So glad we chose it over all the others.
Disliked: The area is a bit sketchy at night. There are homeless that wander in the evening. We did not go out after dark. Genova has quaint little streets but avoid them at night. This hotel has two elevators, one a small cage-type elevator. They work but are small and you have to be patient for your turn. My elderly parents used it and we used it to move our luggage from the 4th floor.

An ideal place to stay for train travelers
Liked: Location, location, location. A nicely renovated hotel that dates back centuries. Very easy access from the station, and then easy access to the old town, sights and many places to eat. Perfect for train travelers.
Disliked: We experienced no problems. Everything worked fine. A good example of its class.
Good location for cruise port and trains
Liked: Kind staff
Disliked: Breakfast could be better. Rather stingy on towels.
