  Fully equipped downtown stay

  Liked: equipped with everything you need to explore Genoa! Cold AC, washing machine, fridge, 2 bathrooms. Central location and quiet except for occasional traffic. Wonderful hosts

  Amazing, modern, hidden jem in the historic part of Genoa

  Liked: Modern, renovated and fully equipped apartment in a historic building and part of Genoa. Amazing location next to many landmarks, short walking distance to the port. The owner handed us the keys and showed us the apartment.

  Disliked: There are many, many small streets in the historic part of Genoa, and as a tourist there is no way to know which street is safe and which is not, and there are hotels, hostels and apartments being rented on all of them. Some streets are full of homeless, drunk persons, addicts and street prostitution. However, this apartment was located on a safe street just next to the banking district so you don't need to worry about security.

  Excellent location and comfortable apartment

  Liked: Excellent location. Apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped. Easy to do laundry as there were lots of spots and hangers to dry clothes. I love the Nespresso machine and the aeroccino - very nice touch. The host was super kind and helpful. She provided assistance with moving our luggage, offered lots of recommendations for restaurants and even helped us book a taxi for our departure.

  Disliked: Even though we knew there's no elevator and the apartment is on the 2nd floor, we didn't expect there to be about 40 steep steps (and at times uneven). Also, one bedroom and one bathroom are located in the loft with low ceiling. We are around 5'3" and did fine but taller people may not do so well.

  Liked: Good location, tidy kichen well equipped

  Disliked: Located in an historical building, numerous steep staircases ledto the apartment. Inside the 2 bedrooms are located upstairs and two very narrow and steep spiral staircases lead up to them. The small and low bathroom upstairs had no shower. Inconvenient!
