  Great location in Matera

  Liked: Location was great, views were great. Breakfast was great.

  Liked: It looked nice, but no windows

  Disliked: Our room had no windows, it was very humid inside, we were barely able to breathe the whole night..there was also mold... How is it legal and healthy to have a room in a cave without ventilation...the jacuzzi made it even more humid...

  Liked: Interesting experience. Everything was great, maybe a slightly peculiar smell of dampness when you enter the room. Nice room, good shower. Breakfast was good (croissants, pastries, fruit, juices, coffee, yogurt, flakes...) A small terrace with a view of Sassi. There is a restaurant under the terrace and a few small pubs nearby.

  Disliked: The bed was not comfortable, the mattress needed to be replaced.

  Beauty at every turn

  Liked: Location is beautiful and very convenient. Check-in ran smoothly. Breakfast is minimal and my room was about a block away from reception area, upstairs and no help with luggage when I left. Matera is beyond beautiful so plan to get lost in its many alleyways of charm and imagination.
