  Absolutely magical!

  Liked: What a fantastic location in a wonderful city. Right in the heart of the Sassi. The accommodation has everything you need whilst retaining authentic character. We loved nothing more than sitting on the fabulous balcony with a glass of wine and soaking up the atmosphere and the fabulous view (and watching everyone stopping to photograph the property as they went by, as it is so attractive.) The owners were so friendly and helpful.

  Disliked: Nothing. It was perfect. If visiting Matera just keep in mind that there are steps everywhere and you need to park outside of the city so it’s a good idea to leave the suitcase in the car and take a small backpack or tote back with what you need.

  Excellent

  Liked: Great location in the old town and view amazing. Good size with nice balcony

  Disliked: Only issue hard to navigate to. Good suggestion to leave big luggage in car and only take small bag. As many steps to get to. But that's the beauty of the town.

  Lovely spot to enjoy Matera

  Liked: Great position with a balcony to enjoy Matera at night. Well appointed apartment - rustic but it had everything we needed.

  Disliked: Not really anything, but be aware there are stairs to the bed.
