  This is a great place to stay in a very special city

  Liked: The apartment is excellent: very well situated and very well equipped with modern kitchen and bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. The hosts, Giovanni and Rosa, were very kind and helpful in many ways, including waiting for us in a parking spot near the house and marking on a map how to find our way round Matera and the best places to visit. They really helped us, and all their recommendations (including restaurants) were excellent and meant that we were able to see lots of important and interesting places in the 24 hours we spent in Matera - a fabulous place.

  Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like. It was all lovely.

  Liked: Excellent location just a short walk from the square. The apartment is brand new and beautiful. I usually prefer self check-in, but Giovanni and his wife were unbelievably kind and even helped us with parking. Such genuine warmth is rare to find these days.

  Liked: We have the best time in this apartment! It’s really close to the main square in Matera and the whole town. The apartment is clean as new, beautiful and Giovani and his son Claudio welcome you with all the information that you’ll need in your stay there. Great wifi and A/C. They help us with the parking spot for our van and leave us a lot of amenities. Surely I recommend you to stay there!

  Great place to land to experience Matera

  Liked: Giovanni and Rose are very responsive. Found and saved a parking space for us. Clean, modern apartment very close walk to everything including hiking and historic areas. We cooked and found we had everything we needed. Giovanni helped us with a car issue that went above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend this property for your stay. Note that once you get parked you probably won’t move your car again until you depart.
