  Liked: Great option in matera, only a few minutes walk from the old town. Good communication from the friendly host, easy check in and was no problem to leave my bag for few hours before I left the day I checked out. Good breakfast options and the room was very smart. Highly recommended

  Liked: Great communication between Marco and us before arrival, after arrival he organised tours and gave us a lot of information and was extremely helpful and kind. The flat war great, very close to the Sassi and the view from the balcony on the gorge was stunning.

  Great location and spacious apartment

  Liked: The location was excellent - very strategic, close to free public parking and just a short walk from the historical Sassi and main landmarks. The apartment itself was spacious with an amazing terrace, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. Breakfast was decent too.

  Disliked: The floors felt like they hadn't been properly cleaned, and the terrace was quite dusty.

  Lovely weekend escape

  Liked: Enjoyed our stay here; it's close enough to the city's scenic areas but away from the crowds. We liked having a view from our room, the gorge is amazing and its great being able to see all the caves across the way. Really appreciated the pre-arrival messages with the Google pins for most scenic stops and ideas:) And parking was super easy to find in the street outside (even if you do have to go around the block a few times) Breakfast was a nice selection of yogurt, pastries, fruit, biscuits and cereal, served in a buffet in the passage and eaten in your room. It's not a "normal" way of doing it, but we really liked eating our breakfast with such a great view before heading out to explore. Christina was super friendly and made a great cup of coffee

  Disliked: The bed was a bit squeaky, and the table in our room was slightly damaged. But it didn't detract from our stay, and Marco said he'd fix those for the next guests:)

  Liked: Place was perfect with a great canyon view, close to one set of Sassi, a bit of a walk all the way across. Enjoyed our stay! Staff and apartment were great!
