  Liked: We had an excellent stay. The “Stanza delle Acque" room was very spacious and modern, and we especially enjoyed stepping out onto the patio overlooking the canyon. The location was ideal, a short walk to the streets with beautiful views of Matera. Convenient paid parking was available in the garage directly across the street. The breakfast each morning was excellent. Our host, Martino, was wonderful and went out of his way to help us plan our days in Matera and the surrounding area. He also recommended some fantastic restaurants for dinner.

  Super comfortable stay with fabulous hospitality

  Liked: The property was well located within easy walking distance to the main Sassi area. Our room was clean, comfortable, modern with a lovely balcony overlooking the gorge. Comfortable bed and lovely white sheets and quilt cover But our host Martino was the highlight. He was so helpful and met us on our arrival with an assigned parking area. He provided us with information about the town and really could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.

  Peaceful beauty

  Liked: Every too and every view is beautiful. A lovely breakfast with unlimited coffee. The shower was hot with good pressure. The bed was comfortable along with the room temperature. The location was an easy walk.
