  Amazing stay and hospitality in the heart of Matera!

  Liked: Incredible location right in the heart of the Sassi. Be aware there are steep steps down to the rooms which might be challenging for some with luggage - to be expected in Matera! Room was spacious, bed very comfortable. Very quiet at night! Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety and freshly made.

  Favorite stay of my trip!

  Liked: This is such a lovely BnB! Great location within Sasso Barisano - about a 10 minute walk from the recommended parking garage (great) and not too far down the steps of the sassi. I would recommend staying here to be centrally located, within a renovated cave, and with the very kind hosts. Make sure you spend breakfast here daily, which is an especially nice way to start the day, and the breakfast/cafe options are slim in the sassi. Hosts communicated well via WhatsApp.

  Disliked: Comfier pillows please!

  Wonderful stay in centre of Matera in the sassi

  Liked: A beautifully decorated and modern room and very clean. A great location right in the sassi of Matera. Monica was a kind and friendly host. Breakfast was good. Couldn’t ask for more!

  Everything was perfect, a must-stay if visiting Matera
