  Liked: Very nice stay at La Dimora di Metello in Matera. Great location for sightseeing. Cars can easily reach the hotel door, even in this old historic area. Our room had a balcony

  Sensational place

  Liked: The staff were so helpful and happy it made our stay that much better. The location could not have been more perfect

  Liked: The location was good and room very spacious. Good breakfast

  Disliked: Room had a bit of a musty smell and the shower head in the bathroom is terrible it’s like a waterfall. No lift so have to lug your luggage up stairs.

  One of a kind “Cave” experience, a must in Matera!

  Liked: Location within Matera, the staff were also great!

  Disliked: The glass door to the bathroom, size of the shower and waterfall shower head, no rubber mat so the floor got very slippery and dangerous.
