  Extraordinary cave

Liked: A prestigious and very spacious property, with extraordinary kindness shown by Imma and Mr. Nicola. Among the various services offered we opted for dinner in our suite and it was truly worth it. Our stay met all our expectations. An absolute must-visit!

  Lovely property and great location

Liked: A lovely little place to stay, right in the heart of the Sassi. The location is so good its even on the tour guides trips when they come round. Lovely host and a fab location.

Matera was beautiful & we enjoyed the “cave experience” but not the dampness

Liked: It was fun to stay in a cave & it felt authentic but modern at the same time. It was decorated nicely with many accent lights. The location was great. A bit hard to find at first as it is tucked away behind a store. The only part that was tough to deal with was the humidity, it was damp the whole time & the sheets even felt damp. To be expected in a cave I guess!

Disliked: The humidity & very small shower

Liked: This is a gorgeous apartment. The host is very helpful and responsive. Comfortable beds. Very well restored cave dwelling..

Disliked: My friend was not able to locate linens for the two a spare sofa beds. I did not look for any personally. We did not become aware of this until late in the evening so I did not contact the host about it as it was only a one night stay. The water in the hot tub was very murky while we were there, so we did not use it. There is a lovely spa but it is across town and a bit of a hike considering all the stairs..
