  Liked: Perfect location and large, clean, well-appointed rooms, perfect for our group of 5 friends. Parking nearby was very convenient and cheap, and the location was so convenient to the historic district.   Liked: A comfy and cozy apartment close to the city center and easy to reach by car. The owner is super helpful and very kind.

  Disliked: The palace facade isn't really nice, but the owner is blocked by condominium rules and cannot do anything

  Liked: Impeccably clean and brand new room with its own bathroom and balcony. Ideal pillows and mattress. On the verge of the Sassi. Excellent communication from the host — everything was smooth and easy. Loved the thoughtful touches like coffee, snacks, and water. Highly recommended!

  The owner was very nice and helpful Room in excellent place for the centre

  Liked: Spotlessly clean. Nice bright room with good size bathroom. Comfortable bed and nice bedding. Comfortable pillows Good location for the centre of Matera.

  Disliked: Difficult to find somewhere to park and the ZTL made it difficult to find the room.

  Best place to stay in Matera

  Liked: The rooms were beyond our expectations. They are much better than on the photos. The owner gave us information about everything: where to eat, where to have aperol with the best view of sassi by night and she was very helpful on everything we asked.
