  Amazing view, amazing hosts, amazing stay

  Liked: Stellar accommodations! The view is beyond spectacular. The host is the sweetest most thoughtful and accommodating I’ve encountered. I was welcomed to a wonderful array of fresh cakes pastries focaccia and other delights. These were refreshed daily when the room was cleaned! The place had a little spot to enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail while taking in the breathtaking view. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

  Liked: An absolutely wonderful place with a breathtaking view of Matera’s old town! The location couldn’t be better. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, with attention to every little detail. The host was incredibly kind, helpful and responsive, always happy to answer our questions and explain everything. The apartment has a unique cave-style atmosphere, which is part of its charm, although I personally found it a little small and enclosed. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place I would definitely recommend!

  Magical stay in Matera

  Liked: There is magic in Matera and magic in this B&B - in large part due to Rosanna, who treats guests with great care - detailed directions, parking advice and extraordinary home cooked cakes. The location is astonishing and the view unforgettable. We have been in Puglia for ten days and this place lingers in our hearts. Clean, convenient and well cared for.

  Disliked: Nothing wrong with the property. You do have to be prepared for some luggage dragging on the streets, but it is worth it. And that’s from two people in late sixties!

  Liked: The location is excellent. one minute walk from the road side in the restricted zone. cars with permits only can access the restricted zone. open front door is the iconic church view.

  Disliked: In the day time, you can hear some car pass by noise, but it is acceptable.

  Liked: Rossana is amazing. Eventhough we werent able to meet in person, it was the best welcome ever. She was always there answering us anytime.. Breakfast was more than what a buffet could be, all hand made super delicious delicacies, kitchen equipment and coffee was amazing as well. The best part is our room was at a perfect angle point of the whole valley.
