  Good location, beautiful view!

  Liked: Very authentic surroundings! Nicely furnished, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, great shower. Breakfast included was a bonus. A little space in front of the room with a table and seats was great! Close to restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. inside of the old town, so inevitably, a bit of steps to walk up and down! Lovely place!

  Disliked: The room ( the one we had ) with no windows, could get a bid stuffy. We had to keep the doors open at times to freshen up the air. Otherwise, all good!

  Liked: A beautifully renovated stone space! You feel privileged to sleep in an authentic setting within an ancient city, featuring a modern, high-end design. You are located in the historic center, and the view from the small terrace is one of the most beautiful in Matera. The breakfast is sweet-leaning, but excellent.

  Disliked: A lack of a small table or a chair for placing items, the shelf serving as a bedside table can literally only hold a mobile phone. The surroundings are a bit poorly maintained, perhaps because it is the off-season, so this slightly detracts from what would otherwise be an excellent impression.

  Unique room with a view

  Liked: The room was spacious and full of character. The bathroom had a unique shower/tub that was very clean and good pressure. Location provided an incredible view. Breakfast was a good bonus.

  Disliked: We set our bags on the shelf in the bathroom and ended up with ants in them. We did not see any ants prior to putting our bags on the shelf, but they appeared later.
