  charming

  Liked: Quiet location a little away from the old town (you definitely need to drive) but beautiful grounds and a charming building, together with a beautiful seasonal pool (which we couldn't use but enjoyed sunbathing by). Breakfast offered a good selection (albeit a little too much cake and not enough savoury options for my palate). Room was a good size for three adults (one double and one double sofa bed for my daughter). The only thing that stopped it getting a 10/10 was polyester bedding - I hate quilts and pillows being filled with polyester!

  Beautiful, comfortable property

  Liked: The property is stunning,,large comfortable rooms, lovely pool, beautiful grounds and plenty of parking. About 10 mins drive to Central Matera.

  Disliked: The location is a semi industrial area which does not do the property justice.

  Good location for one night with car parking

  Liked: Car parking. It was late in the evening when we arrived so could not avail of the pool which looked well maintained. We were only there for one night and their restaurant was closed

  Beautifully restored residence and super staff

  Liked: Staff and residence were amazing. The whole property is meticulously maintained and the old building beautifully renovated and restored. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would love to go back for a longer stay.
