Lovely room and a unique location

Liked: The host, Pasquale, was very communicative prior to arrival with detailed instructions on parking and bus transportation to the location. The room was totally renovated and made use of every bit of space. The bed was up a winding staircase in a loft area, so that might not be ideal for someone, but it was fine for us. I appreciated how clean everything was and the bathroom was modern and beautiful with nice tile and heated floors in the main room. The location is right off the main street in the Sassi with a variety of restaurants nearby and the shared terrace offered a great view at night of the beautifully lit Sassi. The complimentary breakfast included a nice variety of fruit, pastries, and great coffee. Overall, I loved our stay here and only wish we had stayed longer to explore Matera more. We will have to come back!

  Disliked: I can't think of a thing.
