  Dreamy hotel in a location that is other worldly

  Liked: We liked everything about this hotel. It thoroughly deserves to be part of the small leading hotels of the world community. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful from the outset, the hotel itself is stunning, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need, the setting is out of this world, the staff are warm, friendly and hospitable. The breakfast is varied and delicious. One of my favourite hotels and already planning our return.

  Liked: Everything was amazing

  Disliked: No AC, so the ventilation system keeps the rooms at the mid 70’s F, we all slept on top of the blankets, all night. But still a very nice hotel we would stay again just not in august

  Amazing stay at another great SLH property

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this property during our recent trip to Matera. The accommodations were absolutely lovely — our room was spotless and beautifully chic, with thoughtful design touches that made it feel both stylish and comfortable. The breakfast spread each morning was a real highlight — a delicious array of options that set us up perfectly for a day of exploring the Sassi. And the staff went above and beyond throughout our stay, warm, attentive, and genuinely excellent from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Matera — we’d stay again in a heartbeat.

  TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION IS HORRIBLE AND APPARENTLY THEY HAVE NO ACCESS BY CAR?? So im walking???

  Liked: I haven’t even stayed here and im having trouble coordinating with them! Its a 5 star apparently, but they claim no one can get there by car now, I asked if there’s porter service there’s no response exactly how wonder am I going to come to this hotel and my lugging my luggage, their communication is horrible!
