  Matches description and a wonderful weekend in the heart of Sassi

  Liked: The location was perfect, right in the center (if you can define a center in Matera) of the Sassi. The description matched actual room. The breakfast/colazione was included in the price and the family did everything to ensure we were restocked. A simple European breakfast, nothing hot except the coffee/espresso from the machine. The bed was extremely comfortable and did not motion when the other person either got up or back in bed.

  Disliked: The espresso machine only made very small espressos and probably needed an adjustment in order to get a longer or double espresso but this function wasn't working.

  Gorgeous views, comfortable and well appointed accommodations, easy communication

  Liked: Large, great balcony views, host was very communicative.

  Disliked: The main bed is in the main living area some may not like that but the view from bed is amazing. It’s at the bottom of matera so it’s a lot of steps down. Parking is difficult but that’s not the fault of the host it’s just the challenge of Matera in general,

  Liked: The room is really amazing. The hosts take care of us and we didn't miss anything. Everything was perfect.

  Disliked: As the apartment and entrance were at the ground we missed to sleep with open windows, but the experience was great.
