  Unique atmosphere, excellent accommodations

Liked: The Thymus Hotel is located in a spot that’s relatively easy to reach in Matera’s Sassi district. There are some excellent restaurants and bars very close by, within walking distance. The hotel itself is truly unique. It captures the district’s distinctive mood and atmosphere very well. Although the building itself is very old, it is equipped with all the modern amenities that make it contemporary and comfortable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, including many local specialties. The staff was also very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend it.

Disliked: There was no such thing
