  Fabulous stay, restaurant for evening meal needs a rework

  Liked: Wonderful property with a great spa/staff. Rooms on the 2nd floor had lovely high ceilings. Main floor lounge/bar area was relaxing with a good vibe.

  Disliked: Dinner menu was not spa / healthy at all (imho). Barely a vegetable. Mains were uninteresting. Resorted to trying 3 appetizers and couldn’t finish one. I’m not normally one to raise poor food but did and the hotel reacted well. Breakfast was quite good, but baked gods were almost uniformly dry. Hotel needs to look at its kitchen and waiting staff as otherwise the property is excellent. Went up to Montecatini Alto and had a spectacular meal.

  A place to reset, rest and revive yourself

  Liked: The staff were incredibly helpful and thoughtful. The lady at the front desk helped find me the right room as I was in need to rest and quiet and she was so kind and knew exactly which room would suit my needs. The spa and pool area was thoroughly relaxing and just the reset I needed. Massage was one of the best I’ve had. Super relaxing.

  Convenient and comfortable for one night

  Liked: The location was great with a free parking lot across the road from the hotel, as well as being very easy to walk into town. The breakfast was also good and the air-conditioning in the room was strong.

  Disliked: I appreciate the facilities may technically allow this hotel to call itself 5 stars, but the design of the rooms were definitely not 5 star standard. We were fortunate enough to receive a free upgrade on arrival and even the upgraded room was very basic and very small. The room also had a strange smell.
