  Great property, host and location

  Liked: Great property and communication from the host Paolo. Lovely touches like food, coffee pods and wine on arrival, washing tablets and dishwasher tablets. Fabulous to property and location great too.

  Villa Maona August 2025

  Liked: Great, spacious villa with a fabulous pool. Plenty of space for 8 of us, not crowded at all. Kids (ok, and adults!) loved the games room. Outdoor dining and barbecue area was a bonus. Lots of things to do in the local town, also close to Pisa, Lucca, Florence. Recommend a trip on the funicular to get a meal at one of the restaurants in Montecatini Alto. Hope to visit again!

  Disliked: Mosquito repellent was supplied, make sure you have some.

  Outstanding property, unique experience and location, and a wonderful host

  Liked: Our host was outstanding- helpful and very responsive. He helped arrange a special dinner in the villa with a wonderful (and fun) chef. Property is spectacular with beautiful flowers and views. Villa was spacious and decorated beautifully. It was also well equipped. The pool was a highlight for our grandchildren and we loved the view of Montecatini Alto.

  Disliked: That we had to leave! There is nothing we would want changed.

  Stunning property, amazing views, very helpful owner! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Liked: Beautiful house, incredibly well appointed with stunning views. Our group of 8 had an amazing week here at Villa Maona. Paolo, the owner, was very helpful from the initial booking all the way through to the final day - great communication and excellent recommendations. We were very lucky to have Nicole cook for us on 2 evenings. Her food was wonderful and she was an amazing host, again with excellent communication. Fabrizio, the local taxi organiser, helped us with taxi bookings to local restaurants and winery - very helpful and accommodating for all our needs. We would highly recommend this villa!

  A beautiful home for gathering, entertaining and relaxing!

  Liked: The owner, Paulo was amazing. The home was very well appointed, more than other homes I've rented. The home was immaculate with stunning views! We also felt very comfortable there. The home is gated, another plus. Due to the weather, we didn't have a chance to use the electric bikes. Paolo also has another property 5 minutes away to accommodate larger groups. Highly recommend!
