Exceptional
Lovely host however not the best overall
Liked: Makes a difference from traditional hotel stays and ample room for our large family. Welcome wine (we do not drink alcohol) and jams bisquits etc nice touch.
Disliked: Shower was either freezing cold or scolding hot, this happens whilst showering and was very frustrating. No lift so taking luggage to top was not ideal. Pet friendly which was great but plants on the stairs not a good idea as other dogs had used for toilet which then made it an obstacle to get around when leaving. Breakfast was a little misleading as was a voucher for a pastrie and coffee but with children very hard to satisfy them with a small pastrie and also only 5 tickets were left with a booking of 6. 24hr bar on the corner which was full with men my wife did not feel comfortable walking the dog past on her own at night. Located on a Very busy junction so traffic noise until later and very early hours Lorry’s waking with the sound of horns and engine etc. Very long check in process with passports and selfies etc again very frustrating with children.
Liked: Really well equipped (apart from teaspoons) and clean and spacious. Found catching the no6 or no10 bus to the station and historic centre really easy and the stop was just around the corner. Used the Pisamover to get from the airport. Great breakfast from the 24hr bar with tokens, fantastic croissants 🙂 good restaurant recommendations. Excellent co-op supermarket across the roundabout.
