Fabulous
Liked: All was good, perfect location if you come by car, free parking, approx 25 min walk to Pisa tower, smooth check in/check out process and friendly communication.
Disliked: You can hear noise from the corridor. A trash can and small cabinet in the bathroom can be added.

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay. The location is quiet, and the room is large and spacious. The hosts respond to messages quickly. The kitchen is shared and has everything you need.
Liked: The place is nice and has a big shared kitchen with lots of things to use. The beds were comfortable and the apartment itself is far from center but not too much so you can get there by foot and we did it many times to sit near the pisa tower at night or hand out on the walls of the city near the river. The jail nearby is an interesting touch:)
Disliked: Had a little problem with ants and the room was not that clean, especially some smell of mustiness in the bathroom. Also the doors make lots of noise. The owner was a bit pushy with the tax and we didn't understand it, though everything was alright with her after we get it on the second day of staying.
Great experience
Liked: We spent one week at Il Merlo and we couldn´t be more happier. Room was SPOTLESS clean, there was an amazing tuscan styled shared kitchen, and the owner was very kind and quick to react to any of our enquiries! Location was also great, grocery store nearby and couple of minutes by foot to the city center. We were there with our baby and a pram and never had a problem to get anywhere. We highly recommend this accomodation if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful and clean place. We would come again:).
Liked: We absolutely loved our stay! The room was very big and even had a balcony! It is clean and the property on the whole does not look „tired”. The kitchen has everything you may need to cook.
Disliked: It is located next to the prison walls. But actually we have not had any negative experience with that.
