Good
Disappointing and dirty
Liked: The location was good in the main via Roma strip. The limestone vaulted ceiling was nice and typical of the area.
Disliked: The room is in an separate building well away from their normal rooms. No issue here really but the room was not up to the standard that is advertised in their ratings. The entry was dirty and dark. The room had chips and black marks all over the walls everywhere which made it feel dirty and unkept. The bathroom shower had black mould in the bottom and there were no blankets for the bed so we only had a sheet. We also asked for an earlier check-in to store our luggage but this was swiftyly rejected even though there was no-one in the room. They say "you get what you pay for" but in this case we didn't get what we paid for.
Great central hotel room in the heart of Polignano’s historic district!
Liked: We very much appreciated the kindness and consideration from Fulvio. We messed up our transportation and had to do a long overnight journey by train. Fulvio provided a very early check in. We so much needed that! It was a great location.
Disliked: We had a light that kept flashing within our room throughout the second night and we had no idea how to turn it off. All in all we had a very good stay and I want to say a special thank you to the host once again!
We really enjoyed the stay everything was great
Liked: It’s in the middle of the Main Street it’s really clean and comfortable
A perfect mini getaway
Liked: Very cute getaway!
Disliked: My stay was quite disappointing. The single room I booked online was nothing like what was advertised — it was a completely different room. The space was much smaller than shown in the photos, and the walls were noticeably dirty. After just a short shower, water started pooling into the actual sleeping area, which was very uncomfortable. The location itself is above several restaurants, and you can hear everything — from people talking at the tables to all the general noise from downstairs. During the night, I was woken up multiple times by the sound of glass bottles being collected, which was very loud and disruptive. I expected something much better based on the listing and would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.
Excellent location and facilities. Highly recommend
Liked: Excellent location close to restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend. Ivan was an amazing assistance with the check-in process and answered our questions about the local area. Ivan’s attentiveness and knowledge took our stay from great to perfect!
