Very good
Great base to stop at whilst in Puglia
Liked: Location suited us as we were staying for 11 nights and had a car. The pool was great to return to after a day out sightseeing and pretty much had to ourselves most days. Clean facilities. Easy access to the main town, 15-20 min walk.
Disliked: We did very much enjoy our stay at this place, but we didn't feel the room could be described as deluxe, a standard size room, and bed. Lack of storage facilities for clothes. Wifi awful. Within the 11 nights, bed and towels changed only 2 times. Water and power went off, but it was resolved quite quickly. However, communication from the owner could have been better as we didn't know what was happening unless we asked.
It wasn’t a bad experience
Liked: Pool, room Comfy clean 1 mile walk to centre and just under that to train station and parking at property
Disliked: Electric went off twice, no water once then came out brown and smelled. Lot of road noise when at pool but room quiet. Walk into town a bit dodgie

Disliked: No.options for snacks or drinks at location but shops cafes nearby..

Liked: Amazing property! Relaxing and clean. The host was amazing and also took us to the train station when we left. Definitely recommend and would come back ♥️
Disliked: Everything honestly. There was a bit of a walk to the priperty but we didn’t mind it at all.
Lovely stay
Liked: We had a wonderful weeks stay in the villa. First of all the people who run the place are lovely. On our last day they took us to the train station at 7am for nothing. Now it's true to say that the Villa is away from the centre, but is very near to the Railway station which is what we wanted as we travelled by train. We like a walk and walked into the centre most nights, it's not far IMHO but may be too far for some. Addressing some of the comments on other reviews: There are no cooking facilities in the rooms, however 5 minutes walk away, or a minute in a car there are three cafes, a supermarket a brilliant bakers, a small market and big market on Thursdays. The cafes are used mostly by Italian folk and they are wonderful. Breakfast in one has a coffee and pastry for 2 euros. One of the others (Has an archery target outside) has cheap drinks 1.50 for a bottle of beer, 2.50 for a processco. Quite often we bought stuff from the supermarket to eat in the garden back at the villa as it has a lovely garden area We like to relax by the pool and this place has a brilliant pool and terrace. It's very quiet. If you don't like being away from the centre and the hustle and bustle it's not the place for you. The host sends you a list of restaurants. We used Leo's on this and it was excellent. If I was the host I'd add the cafes around the corner to the list and maybe a little map of the area with the supermarkets on etc, etc.
Book with caution if you don't have access to a car
Liked: Clean comfortable rooms with a decent bed and a good shower
Disliked: The property is located beside a main road, across a train track with no foot bridge and the road beside the property has a lot of rubbish dumped, making it an unenjoyable and often times unsafe walk from the centre of Polignano a mare. At night we needed to pay €10 each way for a tuk tuk to take us in to Polignano a Mare for our evening meal. There is no food or drink available for purchase at the property. I would recommend this property for short stays and if you have access to a only. For longer stays, and if you want to be within walking distance of the town centre, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
