Liked: The apartment is conveniently located: a 20-minute walk to the historic center and 15 minutes to the beach. The host is quick to answer any questions and is always happy to help with restaurant selection, gelato, and parking. There's a vending machine for coffee and other beverages on the ground floor.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the owners did not provide us with shampoo and body wash, but since this is a new business, I believe this mistake will be quickly corrected.

Views & Value
Liked: You can’t beat this location. On a clear day you get an amazing view of Mt Etna and Messina. The property is a short stroll from the main shopping precinct and all the local attractions. There is so much history in RC, the bronze warriors, the Aragonese Castello, and remnants of an Ancient Greek city under the Piazza Italia. The room was clean, bed comfortable, there was an ensuite bathroom and kitchenette sink. There is a coffee machine in the room (but no kettle) and you can purchase pods from a vending machine downstairs. We didn’t bother because the Gran Cafe is located a couple of doors down. They serve excellent coffee and breakfast. The hosts Danilo & Lucrezia were very welcoming, helpful & eager to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Lucrezia did some laundry for us at 10 euro per load which saved us time. The facility is value for money and secure.
Disliked: It was a little noisy at nighttime and the wifi was unreliable.
