Nice country house at the outskirts of Siena
Liked: A spacious flat offering a fully equipped kitchen and a large bedroom. There is a parking lot guests can use. You can reach Siena by car in around 15 minutes.
Disliked: The advertised breakfast consisted of ingredients being provided. But you had to cook the breakfast yourself.

Liked: Close to Siena. Good bed. Friendly welcome at check-in (after which the supply of friendliness ran out). The bathroom had just been renovated and was really neat. BUT when we walked in, the room smelled musty. We thought B&B stood for bed and breakfast. The "breakfast" turned out to be a basket of prepackaged croissants, ‘plastic’ bread, jam and a few Nutella cups (this for 3 days). The kettle and the toaster didn't work. When we politely raised this via Booking, we were accused of ‘being blind’. He had both appliances replaced, while he claimed that they still worked perfectly. Because of course, everybody replaces everything that works perfectly, right? 🤔;) The microwave had a crack in the glass of the door, and the freezer compartment was full of ice, with barely any room for anything else (and not the kind of ice you'd want to lick). The pool was dirty. The air conditioning was very slow, but we went in September, so it was bearable.
Charming place
Liked: Very charming B&B on a hill just outside Siena. Nice swimming pool area with sunset view. The rooms are a bit outdated but this also adds to the charm of the place. For instance, our room had an antique typewriter on an antique desk.

Liked: The location was great
Disliked: Appliances & kitchenware needs upgrade. Deep clean needed, Dusty behind bed. Would not advertise with breakfast, rather skip it. Aircon needs clean or replacement, didn’t cool the room. My son love to braai but having to carry everything from unit down to the braai area(meat etc with only 2 plates in the kitchen, made braai unpleasant)
Liked: A beautiful location with pool in the summer heat. Our room was downstairs, so our bedroom stayed lovely and cool. Our host was very accommodating and introduced us thoroughly to the facilities, even when our plane was delayed by 11 hours and we arrived the following day. If you feel like staying slightly away from Siena, this is perfect if you have a car. Otherwise you will be reliant on taxi or bus with a long walk!

Liked: The view and the swimming pool in the garden are amazing and very peaceful. It's very suitable with the Siena vibe. Lovely owner who provided us with a lot of good food
Disliked: The location is a bit difficult to reach of you don't have your own vehicle.
