Exceptional
Wonderful stay in Siena, in Borgo Grandaie-resort like facilities. Great location to explore Tuscany
Liked: We spent 5 nights ar Borgo Grandaie, form September 9-14 There was never a time that we went to speak to the receptionist that no one was available. From the minute we arrived around 11:00AM, it was apparent to me this place had plenty of workers. They have plenty of free and convenient parking. The on-site restaurant was very convenient, the food was delicious and their bar service is readily available. Breakfast was served daily. The day before breakfast, we told the receptionist what we wanted to eat and drink, and it magically appeared the next morning. Not a buffet, so everything was warm and fresh when it got to our table. Very good food and very convenient. I got scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, a croissant or two, Tuscan ham, water and a cappuccino or two. They have a manicured garden/side yard area where kids could play. They have a swimming pool, but we did not use it. Weather permitting, you could eat outdoors. If the weather was iffy, you could go into the adjoining meeting room, and the food was served just like in the restaurant. The rooms were very clean. The cleaning crew was active every day. And the hotel is within a few meters of the Co-Op, where you could buy just about anything. Siena is perhaps one of the best-known cities in Tuscany. Montepulciano, Volterra and the rest of Tuscany is a short drive away. The location and amenities are why we chose Borgo Grandaie. I highly recommended to those who choose to drive, or hire taxi.
Disliked: I wish it had been within walking distance to the old town, but Borgo Grandaie was extra close to the Co-op supermarket. The shower was tiny, but that's true of many rentals in Europe. There really is much we did not like!
Totally recommend
Liked: Very nice clean room and environment, friendly staff, someone can be served fresh breakfast in the room.
Disliked: It needs around 20 min walking to the city centre, what is not a big issue by great weather.

Liked: Nice, helpful staff, good place to relax, swimming pool clean and good for swimming, good breakfast, good for bikers
Disliked: Room was quite small, could be better organize with some shelves, hooks to keep things
Liked: That is the best hotel for our entire vacation in Toscani. It has everything you need. Even a fully equiped kitchen in the room. Spacious room, normal size bathroom. We were amazed by the hotel
