Fabulous
Simple but comforting and close enough to walk into the hill city of Sienna
Liked: Walking distance to Sienna. Clean and free parking
Disliked: Close to a busy roundabout but was not an issue from the room
Liked: It was clean and served our purposes for a place to stay. Coffee facilities and a shared fridge were helpful. Instructions on finding the place were clear.
Disliked: A compendium of where to eat,and how to take lift to top of old town would have been very helpful. Parking was not as easy as advised.
Fun at the thermal baths
Liked: Good location
Disliked: Next to an auto shop with used tires all over. Outdoor patio area not mowed
Comfortable stay, good for the money
Liked: Easy reach of the old city and the train station, nice big and clean room, and surprisingly quiet considering the location.
Disliked: Its set on a really busy road and roundabout.
I will stay somewhere else if I know…
Liked: It is located 10 minutes walk outside of the old town. The facility is clean and the bed is comfortable. It is very easy to find a free street parking within 5 minutes walk.
Disliked: The facility provides refrigerator, coffee machine and pods in the shared kitchen. However, they posted a sign in the kitchen that all guests are not allowed to consume any food in the facility (not even in your room). This is the only hotel/ facility that I stayed to only allow drinking water and coffee.
Liked: The room was very big, very comfortable bed, modern bathroom and elegant room per total. Relatively close to the city center. Thought my room was located right next to the gate and the street, the windows manage to shut out most of the noise.
Disliked: The entrance gate is directly located to the street. The gate (with code) wasn't closing, leaving anyone to just come in the vila from the street. When signaled to the owner, I was completely ignored and the problem was not fixed. The city tax is 2€/person as stated online, yet I as asked to pay 5€ (not much but doesn't seem fair) There is no pietonal street on the side of the vila coming from the city so its a big of going around finding the crossing. Also just a note, to reach the city center by foot you will have to climb a step and long road, for people who might have mobility issues. As a solo female traveler, I do NOT recommend this place for other solo female travelers since I didn't feel completely safe the whole time due to the location and the gate issue.
