Very good
Liked: The view from my room the location and the staff were amazing
Disliked: The breakfast was basic with a little bit more they would improve the experience
Lovely and charming
Liked: Excellent room with a comfortable bed, good shower and a beautiful view. The staff were so friendly and helpful! A walking distance from the centre and very close to a bus stop.
Disliked: Nothing!
We made a very good choice of staying at Hotel Porta Romana, fully recommend it
Liked: The hotel is off the main road, so the grounds and hotel are very quiet. From the patio, the view across the valley was amazing. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The walk into the city was only about 10 minutes to where restaurants started, etc.. We appreciated the hotel arranging for a taxi when we checked out of the hotel.
Disliked: The size of our room was adequate for the two of us. We would have liked a kettle in the room for tea, etc., but the space would have been unable to accommodate one. However, the absence of a kettle seems to be a common factor in Italy, regardless of room size.
Liked: So nice view from the terace!
Good place to visit Siena from although need to be fit as uphill into centre

Liked: Close to central Siena. Nice views. Parking is available.
Disliked: Minimal room with a ceiling fan that sounds like a motor boat. The walls in our room were covered with stirofoam at some places where the wall was broken. The electrical outlet fell out from the wall every time we took out our charger. Breakfast was very basic with pastries and coffee from a vendor machine. Hidden parking cost at 5 euros per day.

Please note that the outdoor hot tub with hydromassage jets is on request and at extra charge. It is open from mid April to mid October.
