  Comfortable and in a great location

  Liked: Great location - at the base of the city, within the city gates. There are escalators up to the city 2 minutes away, which we really appreciated because the roadway up to the main area is VERY steep and we are not super fit! If you have a car, parking is close by and you can drive to the apartment to drop off your bags before you park if you arrange it with the host first. We had a ground floor apartment, which did not have views, but was very comfortable, with king size bed and good bathroom. There was a separate living/dining room and an outside terrace, which did have views as well as a lovely tree to sit under. We had breakfast included, which was a traditional Italian-style pastry, coffee, juice and yoghurt. If you'd prefer something different, there are mini-markets in town to buy supplies and amenities in the kitchen to prepare your own. The host, Simona, was lovely and very responsive to any queries.

  A very nice bed and breakfast well located in Siena

  Liked: It was inside the city and we paid for the hotel's parking which is was right next to the escalators to the top of the town.

  Disliked: We were concerned about driving into the ZTL and being fined. If it could be made clearer that you drive into the zone and once you are at the hotel they make a note of your car registration which then doesn't incur excess charges. This would help first.time visitors.

  Not as advertised "Parking" was 400 metres away. "View" was of window filming

  Liked: Clean property, comfortable bed. Property close to the escalator.

  Disliked: The property was advertised with parking and a city view. The parking was 400 metres away, down a steep hill, so difficult with shopping. There was no view at all because for some unknown reason, they had chosen to obscure all windows. So the experience indoors was that of a prison. If you complain, if they speak to you at all, which is not guaranteed, they just say "What do you expect?" We stayed in what they called a "deluxe apartment", at nearly £200 per night, £60 for parking for 3 nights and city fees on top, so nearly £700, a big investment. Don't mind paying for what I expected from the advert, but in 50 years of travel, I've never had deliberately obscured windows.

  Highly recommend staying here

  Liked: Location was fabulous. Definitely make use of the parking offered for 20€. It’s very close to the accommodation and no stairs to climb. Room was comfortable and breakfast provided.
